The Center for Jewish Life Service Focus Internship is a summer internship opportunity for current Princeton first-years. Inspired by the John C. Bogle ’51 Fellows in Civil Service program, this internship will support student participation in service or civic engagement pursuits, specifically ones with a specific Jewish component. CJL Service Focus fellows will design their own summer internship experience while collaborating with another host organization anywhere in the world, and with the support of the CJL staff. The internship must be a minimum of eight weeks. The CJL can help identify and connect with partner organizations through the application process. More information can be found at http://hillel.princeton.edu/content/apply-cjl-service-focus-internship-here.

The CJL Service Focus Internship hopes to instill a passion for service. We hope that this internship will expand your understanding of how service can be carried out with a Jewish component and how your contribution to the public good can address issues across any number of disciplines and professions. You are encouraged to think creatively about how to build upon your interests to contribute to making a positive impact in the world.
