About the event: The inaugural CBUS Soul Fest is a celebration of Black culture, music, art and food in Columbus. CBUS Soul Fest builds upon the platform that Experience Columbus recently launched, CBUS Soul, to amplify rich, historic, innovative and forward-moving Black culture in Columbus.

CBUS Soul Fest is a RAIN OR SHINE event.

FOOD VENDOR TERMS & CONDITIONS:

I will maintain a $1,000,000 liability insurance policy valid through August 21, 2022 covering bodily injury and property damage. The City of Columbus shall be named as additional insured on such policy. Insurance policy verification, including the City of Columbus, must be submitted no later than August 1, 2022
I will at all times indemnify and hold the City of Columbus, their employees, agents, and sponsors harmless from and against any and all suits, claims, demands, costs, damages, counsel fees, charges, liabilities, and expenses which may at any time be sustained by consequences of any act or negligence of our organization, its employees, agents, or volunteers.
Tent-based vendors are required to use the tent provided by Event Management, other tents will not be permitted.
Vendors are required to obtain all licenses and permits as required by law.
Vendor must provide: fire extinguisher, type #40 B or C or K if cooking with oil; water hose to code; chairs and hand carts/dollies, as needed; trash receptacles and bags for use at your vending location.
Mobile Food Vendors (MFV) OPERATING IN the City of Columbus are required to acquire and maintain a City of Columbus MFV License. Non-Columbus licensed Mobile Food Vendors VISITING the City of Columbus are authorized to operate at CBUS Soul Fest but are required to meet the State of Ohio Fire Code regarding MFV operations and are also required to pass a Division of Fire safety inspection (at the event site) prior to the event before being permitted to operate. ALL visiting in-state and/or out-state MFV’s will be required to have documentation certifying a Propane Pressure Leak Test (PPLT) has been performed and passed. This test must be administered by a certified propane technician within the last 12 months. Documentation for the PPLT shall be maintained on the MFV unit.
All items sold must be approved in advance by Event Management and I agree to (a) abide by their decision, and (b) not serve items that have not been approved.
Layout of the Event, including vending locations, is at the discretion of Event Management and subject to many factors including assisting with crowd movement, booth requirements, and city requirements.
CBUS Soul Fest and all designs produced for the Event are copyrighted and may not be reproduced without the written permission of Event Management.
I grant permission for the taking of photos of our vending space for promotional and news media purposes. My employees, agents, or volunteers have authorized us to grant such permission on their behalf.
I will be responsible for any damages to tents; generators; water lines; lawn and sidewalk areas adjacent to vending space; and all Event owned or leased equipment.
I will abide by the above, in addition to other rules and regulations defined by Event Management, or risk fine, booth closure, and/or elimination from future Events.
Event Management reserves the right to determine the eligibility of any vendor for inclusion in the festival, as well as approve menus and assign locations. Event Management reserves the right to require the modification or removal of any vendor display, signage, flags, products or merchandise that, in its opinion, is not in character with the event or does not comply with health, safety and fire codes. The decisions of Event Management are final.
