Sigma Xi – NPA Joint Membership Rates:
Graduate Students: $68.00
Postdoctoral Scholars (for up to three years after graduation): $80.00
Postdoctoral Scholars (more than three years after graduation): $136.00
An additional $20.00 will be added for one-time Sigma Xi membership initiation fee.

Sigma Xi Membership Information

Are you applying for full or associate membership in Sigma Xi?: *

Full Membership: Requires applicant to be an original investigator in a field of pure or applied science, evidenced by publication as the primary author on at least two different articles published in a refereed journal, patents, or refereed monographs. Dissertations and theses alone are not sufficient.

Associate Membership: Available to applicants who have, through initial research achievement in a field of pure or applied science, shown an aptitude for research, as evidenced by independent investigation ordinarily resulting in a written report. Associate membership is offered to encourage young investigators with promise to continue careers in research.
