The Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN) is pleased to announce the Request for Posters for the 2023 Pennsylvania Department of Education Annual Conference. The Poster Session for the conference will be held in person on Thursday March 2, 2023, from 4:45 – 6:00 PM at the Hershey Lodge.
Poster presentations will highlight evidence-based techniques and practices used in special and general education classrooms, school improvement, staff development, administrative initiatives, student achievements, and/or curricular materials. Special consideration will be given to posters that highlight attracting, preparing, and retaining special education professionals. The topics may include:
- Assistive Technology
- Attract-Prepare-Retain (APR)
- Autism
- Behavior
- Family Engagement
- Inclusive Practices
- Low Incidence Disabilities
- MTSS Reading, MTSS Math, MTSS Writing, MTSS Behavior (SWPBIS)
- Promising Educational Practices
- Secondary Transition
- Special Education Leadership
- Unified Sports
One complimentary room for one night of lodging will be provided for each accepted proposal.
Presenters must register and pay the in-person conference registration fee if they intend to participate in other in-person conference activities. Registration will be available in early December, at www.tinyurl.com/PAedConference
All poster applications must be submitted by December 1st, 2022.
