Beginning November 1, 2019, veteran and active duty persons may enroll to receive a 10% discount off the water and sewer charge.
Requirements for an account to receive a veteran/active duty water and sewer discount:
Must complete online enrollment form or paper enrollment form in billing office at 6800 Main St.
Discount will apply to single-family homes in which the requestor has an active residential water account in their name. This will not apply to land lords with accounts in temporary service.
The following will need to be provided:
1. Driver license/state ID
2. ID that verifies military status (please see list)
3. Completed enrollment request form.
The discount will take place on the bill following the approved enrollment date (earliest possible bill effective date is November 1, 2019). There will be no retroactive discounts. Identification will not be retained, for verification purposes only.
