Section 212.009 of the Texas Local Government Code outlines the applicant's right to have an action made on the submittal of their plat application by the Planning and Zoning Commission within 30 days of a plat application being filed. Filed is defined as when the plat application is submitted to the municipality and all fees have been paid. Section 212.009(b-2) also gives the applicant the option to request an extension of an additional 30 days in order to conclude the review process and ensure the final product to the Planning and Zoning Commission is complete.
By signing this waiver I request an extension of 30 days for the continued review of my plat application.
I acknowledge that a final decision will not be made in the intial 30 days and I will continue to work with staff to finalize the plat application for consideration by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
