Ready For College and Career Conference Registration

College, career, and military readiness is a requirement for all students. Let us help! The Ready For College and Career (R4C2) Conference is taking place Wednesday, September 25, 2019, from 10am-2pm at the American Bank Center in conjunction with the Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend’s YOU Choose Expo, and your Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend! The R4C2 Conference sessions will focus on Coastal Bend careers, as well as academic, certification, and military opportunities. During lunch, students will enjoy the wit and encouraging message of our keynote speaker.

In addition to attending the R4C2 Conference, participants are invited to attend the 2019 YOU (Youth Opportunities Unlimited) Choose Career Expo from 9am-10am. The YOU Choose Career Expo will feature employers from all over the Coastal Bend and will be beneficial to high school students who have some idea of what they want to do, but want more information on a career. An unlimited number of students from each campus may attend the Expo; campuses must register separately for the Expo at https://form.jotform.com/WorkforceCB/YOU_Schools2019.

ATTENDANCE AGREEMENT

As an authorized representative of the educational institution listed above, we acknowledege that by registering students to attend this event, we have reserved spaces that could otherwise be used by other campuses. Therefore, we agree to be invoiced and charged for registration, whether students are able to attend or not, unless for a reason beyond our control such as government restrictions, natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, acts of God or similar.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Registration is $10 for Education to Employment (E2E) Partner members or $25/student for non-members, and includes lunch for students and chaperones. Campuses are limited to 40 students each and registration closes September 13th or when we reach a capacity of 300 students. A ‘Participant Names Form’ for students attending the conference is due to our office by Friday, September 13th.
