The Crowther Shield Competition will be held on Wednesday 11 December 2024 at the Old Court Room, Lincoln's Inn.
The competition takes the form of a plea in mitigation for a fictional character. Previous cases used include Guy Fawkes (conspiracy to cause an explosion), Lady Macbeth (soliciting a murder) and Goldilocks (burglary and criminal damage).
Twelve students will be chosen at random by ballot to compete at the competition. The closing date for entry into the ballot is 10 am on Monday 25 November 2024 and students will be informed shortly after. Please complete and submit the form below to enter the ballot for the Crowther Shield.
Please note, this competition is only open to Lincoln's Inn student members, who have not taken part previously and multiple entries to the ballot will be ignored.
