What we will do for you
We will make the space available to you for the date and time agreed to.
This includes full and exclusive use of the function space, the kitchen (including cutlery, crockery and glassware) and all furniture.
We will provide security for 21st birthdays.
To give you (and us) peace of mind during your celebration we will organise security. There is a charge of $400 for 5.5 hours.
We will make the space available to you for you to set up for your event.
If you’d like to set up on the day there will be no charge. If you’d like to set up on the day before there will be a charge of $200.
You are welcome to use and arrange the furniture as you wish, however, we don’t have staff for this purpose. Furniture must be returned to where you found it at the end of your event.
You are welcome to put up decorations including lights, screens etc but these must be removed as part of your clean up.
We are not in a position to move anything on the walls including existing club photos, honours boards, trophy cabinets.
We will provide a stocked bar and bar staff.
The closing time for the bar is 12:00am. You and your guests must leave the venue by 1.30am after cleaning.
In accordance with liquor licensing laws, our bar staff have the right to supervise your event to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment. In the event of a disturbance that has the potential to cause damage to the venue, your guests or our staff, our staff have the right to close the bar before 12:00am.
We will not serve alcohol to people under the age of 18.
Neither you nor your guests are able to BYO alcohol.
If you have a particular request we can order that in for you with seven days notice. A bar tab can be arranged for your event but it must be paid at the end of your function.
We will provide audio visual equipment
Limited AV equipment is available. Care must be taken when using the equipment. Any damage to the equipment will need to be paid for by you.
What we can’t do
We can’t accept responsibility for the cancellation of your event as a consequence of fire, flood, storm, or government imposition of restrictions such as preventing the use of gas or electricity.
We don’t provide on-site catering, but we can provide details of local caterers.
What you must do
You must accept responsibility for the running of your event and the behaviour of all your guests, both inside and outside the club. You will be responsible for the cost of repairing any damage caused during your event.
You must pay the required fees
Venue hire: $400 for Friday, Saturday, Sunday (day and evening events) with a minimum spend of $600 on the bar when the bar is required
$350 for Monday to Thursday (daytime events)
Venue hire is to be paid at least 7 days before your event.
Cancellation of your event within 14 days before the event will forfeit the venue hire fee paid.
You must ensure the venue is cleaned and the key returned before you leave.
Before you leave you must ensure the space is cleaned. Failure to adequately clean the venue or leave the key WILL result in a further charge of $200 being applied to your credit card.
Adequately cleaned means:
- All decorations and your other fittings, speakers etc removed
- Food scraps and rubbish sealed in plastic bags (provided)
- Toilets in a clean state with all messes cleaned up
- Tables and chairs returned to their original positions
- Floors swept
- Outside areas cleared of bottles, rubbish and cigarette butts.
