The Redwood Day PGA Book Fair runs from February 3 - 7, 2025.

You may purchase Student Accounts through the end of the day on January 27.

Student Accounts allow your student(s) to shop for books during the school day throughout the week without having to keep track of cash. Think of it like a credit at a bookstore!

How much money you add to your child's account is a personal decision to make for your own family. However, this guide to typical children’s book prices might be helpful to consider when setting up your child’s student account:

Picture books - $20 to $22 including tax
Hardbound books - $12 to $20 including tax
Paperbound books - start at $5.50 but average $9 to $14.20 including tax
Graphic novels - $12 to $14.20 including tax

PLEASE NOTE: Parents and guardians may use their student's leftover funds when they shop at the fair, and anything remaining on student accounts at the end of the week is donated to the library. Refunds are not available.

Please consider a donation to support the Oakland Literacy Coalition. This year, Redwood day is partnering with the OLC to strengthen literacy supports and resources across the city of Oakland. Donations go directly to provide access to high interest and culturally affirming books for children, information and reading resources for parents and caregivers, building more robust Oakland school libraries, and capacity building and training for quality literacy instruction in and out of school.
