Class Registration

We are excited to have you join us for one of our classes!
 
In order to secure a seat for one of our classes, you must enroll using the form below.  You can print this form and pay in person at FRAA (120 Maple Street, Florence) or you can complete the form online and pay via PayPal or Credit Card (processed by PayPal).   For each course, full payment is due at the time of registration to guarantee your seat. You are not considered to be enrolled until full payment is received.
Beginning Watercolor with Peggy Ross - 6 class series Wednesdays, March 12, 19, 26, April 2, 9 & 16, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. This class teaches the fundamentals of transparent watercolor painting, from pigments to paper to paintbrushes. Explore color theory, washes, resists, masks, crackles & blooms. Class sessions include skill building exercises, guided paintings and serendipitous discovery.  Students of all levels welcome.

$175 per student for FRAA member ($195 for non-FRAA member). 
$10 Material Fee
includes basic paints, misc. tools use and instructional handouts.

Mixed Media Drawing with Peggy Ross - 5 class series Thursdays, March 13, 20, 27 & April 3 & 10, 1:00-3:00 PM. Stretch the boundaries of drawing and dive into alternative surfaces, tools and approaches. Explore
media such as graphite, ink, collage, embossing, frottage and more. Deepen creativity through right
brain exercises and improve proficiency. This class is the perfect addition to a developing creative
toolbox.  Welcoming all students with basic knowledge of drawing or painting.

$155 per student for FRAA member ($175 for non-FRAA member). 
Materials Fee $20

Beginning Frame Loom Weaving with Peggy Ross - 6 class series Mondays, March 17, 24, 31, April 7, 14 & 21, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm. This beginning weaving class introduces the basic elements of weaving and tapestry technique. Students will learn the fundamentals for creating woven art and functional items such as bags and mats. It can be a fun way to incorporate collected shells, driftwood, special buttons, or beads into woven art! Weaving techniques taught will include plain weave, color blending, warp & weft stripes and rya knots and fringe.

$175 per student for FRAA member ($195 for non-FRAA member). 
$45 Material Fee
Supplies include: 14”X18” frame loom, shed stick, simple shuttles, packing strips, warp thread, and a selection of wool yarn for use during class.
Students should bring to class: scissors & pencil

Policies:
* Registration fee is paid at time of registration.
* FRAA occasionally takes photos of classes, students, and artwork for promotional purposes in newspapers, flyers, and social media.  Please inform us if this is not acceptable to you.
* Registration can be made online through Paypal (you can pay with Credit Card or Paypal) or in person at FRAA.
Cancellation Policy:
No refund will be given for class no‐shows.  Cancellations made less than one (1) week prior to the start of class will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Each instructor decides the minimum number of students required to teach but it is often 3 or 4. Fees are 100% refundable if FRAA cancels due to insufficient registration.
 
If a class is cancelled due to insufficient registration, an alternative class will be offered if/when possible, and/or a refund will be made.  If using Paypal, refund will be made through Paypal.  All other refunds will be made via Check.  
Waiver and Release of Liability:
I agree that I will not hold Florence Regional Arts Alliance (FRAA), and its officers, directors, volunteers and successors liable for any personal injury, property damage or loss of insurance. I agree to release and hold harmless FRAA from all liability incurred as a result of my participation in any class or open studio at FRAA and that these terms serve as a release for me.
