Future of Libraries Conference 2022: Expanding Your Toolbox for a Changing World

Registration is now open for the Future of Libraries Conference, back in person on Tuesday, October 18 at San Francisco Public Library. This year, we tackle the nitty-gritty of how to serve our communities in a rapidly changing world. Our keynote speakers, librarians Frieda Afary and Wonda Powell, will address librarians’ role in teaching critical thinking and empathy in an age of disinformation. Other topics include conflicts around digital lending, and non-traditional library collections. Learn from experienced library staff across California, and share your own innovative programs and perspectives with peers!

BART to San Francisco Public Library:  Exit BART at CIVIC CENTER STATION at Market St. & 8th. The library entrance is on Grove Street near corner of Grove St. & Hyde St.
