Saint Michael's makes no charge for your dedication, but if you can make a donation towards our vital work supporting local people living with terminal illness and bereavement we would be extremely grateful.
You can make a donation of any value, the following gives you some idea about how your support could be used:
A £25 donation could help a carer or family member to receive essential emotional and practical support when it is most needed.
Our special support gives carers a safe space to meet others in a similar situation, to share experiences, access expert advice and information and provide some essential respite from their everyday responsibilities.
A £50 donation could help a child or young person to live with the death of a loved one, with a one to one support session with an experienced support worker.
Our support workers are specially trained to help children and young people live with the changes that a person’s death has brought to their life and find ways to express and manage their grief. This might include talking through their feelings in a safe environment, creating meaningful artwork, making memory jars or other
Your gift may also help us support children and young people who are coming to terms with the fact that someone close to them is dying.
A £100 donation could help someone access support from a range of experts during a day visit to our hospice
Spending the day at Saint Michael’s helps people with any terminal illness to manage their physical symptoms and enhance their feeling of wellbeing. As well as receiving expert medical care and support, a visit to day therapy allows patients people the chance to relax, unwind and feel more like themselves for a couple of hours.
All donations, whatever you can give, will make a difference to a local family affected by terminal illness and bereavement. Thank you for your suppport.
