General Conditions: The Perry Hall/White Marsh Business Association (sponsor) requires that all participants follow the General Conditions. Any EXTERIOR lighting left on during the Contest Period will be considered an entry into the Contest. Participants must decorate their house, apartment or mobile home with exterior electric lights & decorations.
Businesses may indicate that they are decorating the INTERIOR of their businesses to be eligible as a participant.
Types of acceptable lighting include, but are not limited to, mini string lights, rope light, neon signs, LED tape light, flood lights, and patio lights. Unacceptable lighting includes vulgar or inappropriate displays, any and all ﬁre or pyro technics, and/or any display that endangers surrounding homes or businesses. All participants will be considered for the following categories: Best in Show, Clark Griswold (most lights), and People’s Choice and in the BUSINESS category- Most festive and Most Original.
Registered homes & businesses will be placed on a downloadable/printable map for families to drive by the entries or visit the participating businesses. Voting will be tabulated using an online/texting program and the decisions of the PHWMBA board reviewing the votes will be final. Winners will be notified by phone or email and prizes will be awarded after January 1.
The Sponsor is not responsible for telephone, network, electronic, or computer failures of any kind, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged, or ineligible. All entries, including but not limited to images or videos submitted become the property of the Sponsor. Participants agree to allow full usage of submitted photos or video to be used at the Sponsor’s discretion.
