Annual ADA Compliance Confirmation

An ADA Compliance Confirmation must be submitted to ELECT each year. The Annual ADA Compliance Confirmation is only to be submitted after the local electoral board holds a public meeting in which a majority vote of the board confirms all statements included in the ADA Complaince Confirmation. Additionally, ADA Checklists for all polling places must be maintained in the locality’s records to document full compliance with the ADA and all applicable federal and state laws regarding accessibility [§§24.2-103(A) and 24.2-310(C)].
