RCTab System Hardening and Commonwealth RCV/RCTab Equipment Security Practices and Policies

In this survey, you are attesting to the Department of Elections that you have:

successfully followed all steps in the "System Hardening Procedures", instructions for preparing a device to have RCTab installed on it
will use an approved secured flash drive
will follow Logic and Accuracy (L&A) procedures for each election per instructions
will follow the secured downloading, installation, and HASH validation of RCTab software per instructions
will follow all post-election procedures for RCTab software per RCTab vendor instructions
will follow best security practices per RCTab guidelines and the Commonwealth of Virginia policy, as it relates to RCV/RCTab equipment. This includes but is not limited to; only using the RCTab software found and downloaded from ELECT’s secure server, using the equipment only for RCTab software, only using a MS Windows OS device for the RCTab software, the device will not connect to the internet at any time
