Cal Grant A Entitlement E1 Award at Humphreys University provides up to $9358 per academic year. Cal Grant A awards apply only to tuition. The Humphreys University Freshmen Scholarship will cover the remaining tuition balance AFTER all financial aid has been applied for the quarter. Financial aid includes and is not limited to the following: Pell Grant, Cal Grant, Federal Supplemental Opportunity Educational Grant, federal loans, private loans, other state aid, external scholarships, tuition waivers, etc.
Cal Grant B Entitlement E1 Award is composed of two components: an Access award (living expense) and a Tuition award. The tuition component of the Cal Grant B award provides students beyond their freshman year up to $9358 per academic year. The Access award portion of the Cal Grant B award provides a full-time freshman student up to $1648, per academic year. The Humphreys University Freshmen Scholarship will cover the remaining tuition balance AFTER all financial aid has been applied for the quarter. Financial aid includes and is not limited to the following: Pell Grant, Cal Grant, Federal Supplemental Opportunity Educational Grant, federal loans, private loans, other state aid, external scholarships, tuition waivers, etc.
Freshmen Scholarship Book Award
Furthermore, to assist students in obtaining required books, students will also be awarded a $1000 lifetime scholarship specific for the purchase of books. The Freshmen Scholarship Book Award may only be used to buy books from Humphreys' virtual book vendor, eCampus. The Freshmen Scholarship Book award is not renewable and can only be used in conjunction with the Freshmen Scholarship award.
