Bursar's Office: Parent Plus Loan Authorization to Refund Student Form

Parent Plus Loan borrowers may authorize a credit balance to be made payable to the student if the selection was not at the time of application of the loan.

This authorization will be active for the current award year only and must be resubmitted for future requests.

BY SUBMITTING THIS FORM, I (PARENT PLUS LOAN BORROWER) AUTHORIZE WPI TO RELEASE THE CREDIT BALANCE ON MY STUDENT’S ACCOUNT, WHICH MAY BE A RESULT OF A PARENT PLUS LOAN TO THE STUDENT LISTED BELOW. *

I CERTIFY THAT I AM THE BORROWER SUBMITTING THIS FORM AND AUTHORIZE WPI TO RELEASE THESE FUNDS TO THE STUDENT. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT ADDITIONAL REFUNDS FOR THIS ACCOUNT, FOR THE CURRENT AWARD YEAR, WILL BE MADE PAYABLE TO THE STUDENT.

I may rescind this authorization, at any time, in writing to the Bursar’s Office, however, I will not hold the Bursar’s Office liable for refunds that may have been made payable to the Student prior to submitting a request to rescind this authorization.
